Our story began when our Product Director, Antonio Duran Junior, had the idea of a board game to teach entrepreneurs their journey. Meanwhile, our current CEO, Fabiele Nunes, had just returned to Brazil from her international career and studies at Stanford, with a question: how can big corporations learn to innovate with the agility of startups?  

The idea of creating a game to teach innovation and entrepreneurial education was born, the Startup Mundi Game Experience.

2023 Evolution of the SMGX experience. We launched our game in Spanish at Web Summit Rio. Launch of the new game with a focus on ESG.

2021 Start of development of our proprietary gaming platform to make the digital experience even more immersive We started our internationalization in Europe, through the German market

  • 7th place at "100 Open Startups", EdTechs category.

2019 Release of version 2.0 of the game.

  • 3rd place at "100 Open Startups" in the Education category, Serious Gaming category.

2017 The first game of the ecosystem of innovation emerges, the Startup Mundi Game Experience, a board game considered as a realistic simulation of the journey of a startup or innovative solution.

2022 Launch of our proprietary online platform.

  • 6th place at "100 Open Startups", EdTechs - Educação Corporativa category.
    • Antonio Durán won 4th place in the Senior Entrepreneurship category.
    • Fabiele Nunes in 9th place in the Female Entrepreneurship category.

2020 Start year of the COVID-19 pandemic. Launch of the online game version and the content version 3.0.

  • We won the Ino.vc ArcellorMittal Trophy for Digital Innovation. A great appreciation of a great client, the largest producer in the world.
  • 6th position at "100 Open Startups", EdTechs category.
  • Fabiele Nunes was awarded 4th place in the Female Entrepreneurship category.

2018 Release of Version 1.0 at Sebrae SC event.

  • We entered the "100 Open Startups" ranking for the first time.
